Offshore Odyssey: Reeling in Dubai's Diverse Bounty

What a day out on the water! I had the pleasure of guiding Pravieen Kumar on a fishing adventure in Dubai, and it was an absolute blast. February is a prime time for offshore fishing around these parts, with the weather and water conditions creating ideal conditions to target a variety of species.

We started the day at 10:30 am, meeting up at the Dubai marina and getting everything loaded up. As we headed out, the weather was partly cloudy, but the water was calm and clear—just perfect for a productive day on the open ocean. We knew we'd have a shot at some great offshore action, and we wasted no time getting the lines in the water.

The bite started picking up quickly, and before long, we were hooked up with a nice Gag. That fish put up one heck of a fight, but Pravieen kept his cool and landed it beautifully. We kept the momentum going, adding Sooty Grunter, Ladyfish, Little Tunny, and even a few Roach and Rudd to the mix. The variety of species we encountered out there was really impressive, and it kept us on our toes, switching up techniques to stay on the fish.

By the time we headed back in, we had an awesome catch to show for our efforts, but more importantly, we had an incredible time on the water.
